Greg Haugen demoed Door Stops. Have you ever gone shopping for a door stop? You probably found there’s one basic option, the ugly hollow rubber stops. Or if you’re like most, you’re using a brick, or you may even have your doors tied to something to keep them open.

Denis Falch demoed “Inside Out Turning” to the club. This method of turning requires the turner to design and turn the inside of the turning first. Then turn the outside. Denis explained each of the phases to this style of turning. He had examples of the finished turnings for you to see. This style of turning produces very unusual and beautiful turnings. They can range from Christmas tree ornaments to vases.

Dave Dunn showed the club how to turn Corian and he will also showed us how to turn and finish the bottom of your turnings with a minimum of tools.
